The concept was created as a marketing metaphor for Sellaband; As a phrase, It creates a "bridge" between what people already know (record labels) and what they do not know (Sellaband)
It also prepares a person properly for what they are about to experience, when they do actaully visit an artists page, (or any part of the sab web site for that matter)
After being on this platform for over a year and half, you start to realize there are patterns to things.
